Hi, I’m Hannah Brooks, the founder of Ward Wisdom. I read the messages that come in, and I’m glad you’re here. Pick the section below that fits your message, then use the email or the form.
Say hello
You can write to me about nursing school, shifts, careers, money, or self-care. You can also write to share what helped you, or to tell me what’s missing from the site.

New here? My Start Here page shows you where to begin. The About page explains who I am and why I built this site.
Reader questions and topic requests
Stuck on something? Tell me. Many of our guides start with a question from a reader.
These are good things to write about:
- A guide or printable you wish existed
- Help finding something on the site
- Topics in Nursing School, NCLEX Prep, New Grad Nurses, Career & Money, or Self-Care & Burnout
- Ideas for night shifts, shift meal prep, or scrubs and gear
A mistake I see a lot: a message that says “I need help” and nothing else. Add your stage (applying, in school, new grad, working nurse) and the one thing you’re stuck on. That lets me point you to the right guide faster.
While you wait, you may find what you need in the Free Resources library.
Collaborations and sponsored content
I’m open to working with brands, nurse creators, and educators whose work truly helps nurses and nursing students. Good fits include nurse-made tools, study resources, gear, and self-care products.
In your first email, please include:
- Who you are and what you offer
- Who it helps (students, new grads, working nurses)
- What kind of project you have in mind
- Any dates or deadlines
Here is how I work. I only recommend what I believe is useful to readers. Paid or free-product content is clearly labeled. You can read the full details on the Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy pages. I can’t promise a positive review, and I don’t change what I write based on payment.
Corrections and feedback
Nursing rules change, and they differ by country, state, and workplace. If you spot something outdated, unclear, or wrong, please tell me.
Send the page title or link, what you noticed, and a source if you have one. I’ll review it and update the page when a fix is needed. You can see how I research and write in the Editorial Policy.
Kind feedback is welcome too. So is honest feedback on a printable that didn’t work for your shift.

Response time
I usually reply within [ADD REPLY TIME]. Busy weeks and school or shift schedules can slow things down a little, so thank you for being patient.
If you haven’t heard back after that time, check your spam folder. Then send a short follow-up.
Important note: we cannot give medical advice
Ward Wisdom shares general education and practical tips for nurses. I can’t give medical advice, diagnose a condition, or tell you what to do about your own health or a patient’s care. I also can’t give personal legal or financial advice.
Please don’t send patient details or any private health information. For your own health, talk to your own provider. For a patient situation at work, follow your facility’s policies and ask your charge nurse, preceptor, or supervisor. If it’s an emergency, call your local emergency number right away.
